History

Minnesota Auto License Bureau, Inc. is a long-time fixture in the city of Rochester and the surrounding area.  Beginning in 1958 with the appointment of Leroy “Red” Malone to the position of Deputy Registrar until his death in 1964.  Taking over for Red was his wife Mary Malone, who ran the business until her retirement in 1996.  Today Molly Malone Hintz continues the family tradition as Deputy Registrar.

The business has grown from humble beginnings on SW First Avenue until the Flood of ’78 prompted a move to the Crossroads Shopping Center. The Crossroads License Bureau remains at this location today. In addition, Molly added the Airport View License Bureau in April of 2002. The Kasson office was added in 2015.

Today the Crossroads License Bureau, Airport View License Bureau, and Kasson License Bureau handle all your registration and titling needs. The Airport and Kasson locations also offer hunting and fishing licenses.
